Editorial Inspirations Editing/Indexing/Proofreading www.EditorialInspirations.com

Business WritingIn the business world, the ability to write well is a basic necessity. In many respects, you are what you write because your coworkers, clients, vendors, and other associates may encounter you most often in the form of your written words.

Whether you are a seasoned CEO or someone who struggled with high school English, you can propel your writing ability to a higher level with just 10 easy steps. Each chapter offers a variety of specific examples and plenty of practical pointers you can use immediately. No matter what level of writing proficiency you currently have, 10 Steps to Successful Business Writing can help you grow and improve.

Immediately after Thanksgiving and right before the winter holidays, April Michelle wrote and edited the index for this book. At the end of the two weeks, she provided a publishable index, along with some minor edits she noticed while examining the text for topics to include in the index.

Leadership Lessons

January 1, 2016

Editorial Inspirations Editing/Indexing/Proofreading www.EditorialInspirations.com

Leadership LessonsAchievers–the masters, innovators, and great ones–do not owe their success to luck, birth, or environment. Rather, great achievers throughout history–from Michelangelo to Einstein, Madame Curie to Bill Gates, Colonel Sanders to General Eisenhower–all have characteristics that the authors have distilled into actions for extraordinary success in any field. In the process, some old notions are put to rest, including that innovators must be risk takers and that great ideas just happen. Leadership Lessons ranges from the importance of preparing for success (acquiring expertise) to endurance against obstacles and recognizing and then seizing opportunities. None of it is easy, they say, but the rewards can be substantial. This fascinating book will be especially helpful for senior executives, ambitious managers, and entrepreneurs; many will find the clarity of its prose and sometimes surprising relevance of the examples and keys inspirational.

April Michelle Davis was hired by the publisher to write the index for this book. Having written numerous indexes for this publisher, April Michelle knew the terminology that the readers would expect and look for in the index for this genre.

December 31, 2015

Editorial Inspirations Editing/Indexing/Proofreading www.EditorialInspirations.com

Training Design and DeliveryTrainers are always on the lookout for a quick, easy-to-use guide to help them through the process of designing, producing, implementing, delivering, and evaluating training programs. Training Design & Delivery is intended to be that simple, single-source guide for every trainer, training manager, and even the occasional trainer. Author Geri McArdle provides an easy-to-understand 20-step training system model, along with dozens of useful standard forms and client memorandums, step-by-step methodology checklists, and other job aids. It features a comprehensive trainer’s toolkit that provides tips and techniques on subjects ranging from internal consulting to course construction, to games and retention exercises. After reading this book you will be able to answer the three most critical questions facing any training professional: What content should be included? How should the material be taught and delivered? How can you ensure that the training is working?

April Michelle worked with the author to developmental edit this manuscript. Together, they reorganized chapters and sections within the chapters. Once this was completed, April Michelle copyedited the manuscript, preparing it for the publisher.
